PMI-ACP Exam and Certification

The PMI-ACP® (Agile Certified Practitioner) Certification is a globally recognized credential offered by the PMI. The fee to take the PMI ACP Certification exam is different as per your PMI membership status: PMI members — US$435; Non-members — US$495. You may also face preparation costs through in-person PMI training or online PMI courses.

• 2,000 hours of general project experience working in teams. • One thousand five hundred hours directing agile project teams or working on agile. • PMI approved 21 contact hours of training for agile practices through PMI courses or PMI training.

To keep your PMI-ACP® Certification you should maintain it every 3 years. The certification also requires 30 Professional Development Units (PDUs) in agile topics every three years for activities (such as PMI training or PMI programs).

Yes, PMI will allow you to take the PMI-ACP® Certification exam online.

The PMI-ACP® exam can be retaken for USD 300, and the second and third attempts should be within a year of the first attempt. Exam retake fees apply.
